Mobile design prototype for a Hospital Information Management System
A clinician-first HIMS mobile experience designed, prototyped and validated with real ward staff.

The problem
Clinicians were tied to desktop terminals for patient records, vitals and prescriptions. Ward rounds meant handwritten notes re-entered later, causing delays and transcription errors.
What we designed
Research interviews and journey maps for doctors, nurses and records officers, followed by a full mobile design system — patient timeline, vitals capture, e-prescribing, lab results, admissions and discharge — delivered as a high-fidelity interactive prototype with accessibility-tested contrast and one-handed navigation for ward use.
The outcome
The prototype was validated in usability sessions with ward staff, approved by the hospital board, and now serves as the build-ready specification for development.
